Friendship

What is the meaning of friendship? Well, according to the dictionary, a friendship is a relationship between two or more people who hold mutual affection for each other.
What it means to me, is a bond that I create with a person whom I would do absolutely anything for. And yes, my friendship bonds are really hard to build. Only a few people has been able to get through the walls I built and to tell you the truth, getting through it was not an easy task.
Each and every single people I have met in my time here and also in other places have definitely served their purpose. Some is to teach me that I should be thankful because I am blessed to be having some really amazing people in my life and others are to teach me that sometimes, I need to be careful not expect everything to work out all the time.
Being so privileged by my family, I never really knew how it feels like not to get something that I want. So, let's just say, I got the taste of that when I got here and the blow was so low that I needed someone to hold on to. So, this amazing girl whom I barely knew, suddenly was there. Holding me when I can barely stand, wiping my tears away as they were about to fall. Seriously, I wouldn't know what to do if she wasn't here. This person who is so caring and really the only person who is brave enough to scold me like she is family.
Frankly, I already feel like she is. We quarrel and have our disagreements but I would go out of my way for this special little lady. You never know how much you need someone until there comes a time that it is being put to the test.
The only person who knows my deepest, darkest secret and also, the only person I let to go through my phone without worrying about anything to hide. She doesn't judge; well, she judges other people, just not me, and that is what I absolutely love about her. Its like, I know with her, its okay to make mistakes as long as I learn form them.
To me, it takes a special person to make me unveil myself in-front of em'. She is patient enough to wait and now, just because she is my best friend, I have been giving her the best part of me. And, till this day, I can't thank her enough for being in my life.
